Hi

has anybody got experience of using a Kampa Air Pro 390 as an all season awning please? Trying to decide if it’s necessary to go for an air all season or not.

We have a Kampa 390 Air Pro. Strong winds flex the air beams, causing the inner inflatable part to twist inside their protective covering.over time. If you deflate the tube slightly, you can unzip the outer protection and restore their position.

So the longer that the awning is erected, and the more the wind blows, then the greater the likelihood of twisting. I’d say, that as a rule of thumb, coastal sites are more likely to cause this problem than sheltered inland ones. Location may be your tipping point.

We have a 360 Fiesta Pro which is great with only one down sidewhich is that it’s very heavy to pull onto the awning rail
