Warranty Issue - Lunar - How Long??

My 2016 Lunar caravan handbook states "All Lunar caravans are supplied with a 6 year body shell warranty and a 3 year manufacturers backed warranty from the date of purchase".

However when a recent claim for a faulty bathroom tap was placed by the dealer with Lunar they were told that taps are only 1 year.  They also said as a side that many caravan parts have different warranty periods.

Is this right, or am I being conned??

Sounds to me like Lunar are trying it on.

Quite apart from their warranty, you are entitled to expect that goods should be of merchantable quality. Pester your dealer, is my advice.

Parts do have different lengths of warranty Some 1, some 2 and some 3 years.

I have a 2014 Clubman and have just come home from holiday with problems. I checked the hand book and the warranties are listed in there. It's on pages 2, 3 and 4 of the service handbook if yours is the same as mine, page 4 gives length of parts warranties.

Agree with harryb. we have a 2016 delta RI and while on chester fairoaks site the bathroom tap started leaking at the bottom, had to get mobile fitter out but couldn't stop leak so blanked it off. only 36hrs then home. tried to order new tap but was told £110 with a 10/12 week wait. bought a normal domestic tap from victoria plumb for less than half the price and looks better than the original.
