Warwick Racecourse
I've tried to book a pitch at the Warwick Racecourse site in March 2019 and it is shown as full for all of March 2019.
I then tried a variety of dates in April, May & June and again there is not a single date available.
Does anyone know why I can't book?

I think that’s the case with a lot of the racecourse sites. Rowena posted some while back explaining that booking couldn’t open until the race days are known.

I like the race course site as in general we do not use our car once pitched. The race course is a short walk from the town and so we can get everywhere we want without driving, that is the sort of holiday we enjoy but I'll look at your suggestion.

I like the racecourse site as well, John. Even pitched on the tarmac alongside the rails it's fine. It’s a great site for anyone with dogs.

Personally I prefer Warwick as it has everything to hand, even though I have lived in Harbury the site isn't in the village and involves driving to get to places.
As TW said the race course site release dates are not available yet. It would be helpful to know what this means, when they might appear etc.?

yes pitched exactly there for one night on our way to the Cotwolds. Although there were many outfits with awnings who looked like they had/would be there longer.

Warwick is our home ground so we always like a wander round, we were married there and have family in the area. Harbury is good for trips out on the Fosse etc. All very familiar to us.
I was hoping to book Cheltenham next year so am in the same boat as the OP and would be pleased to hear of booking release dates.

Give it a whirl, M. The facilities are small but perfectly formed even if a little old. The common grassland behind the pitching area is superb for dog walking.

We quite liked Warwick Racecourse site, one of the better racecourse sites in the network. Some pictures here

We've stayed at Warwick on a few occasions and also like it. Once was during December and we got the bus to Stratford for the Xmas markets, very convenient. Have also used it as an overnighter to the tunnel a couple of times, and would use it again.

Hello from Warwick
Yes, a brilliant site and as others have said, brilliant for doggies, an important consideration for me now that I often have Sister and dogs with me.
