Elddis Affinity Problems with Front Panel

We have a 2016 Elddis Affinity,, ours from New. As we were about to embark on a ferry to Ireland in March we couldn't close the front locker as it had partially come out of the continuous hinge. The only way to proceed was to jam it in with two bits of wood from a hedge using the front grab handles as support. We made the ferry with 10 mins to spare. On return Elddis agreed to replace the locker door under warranty. The authorised reporters did the job but noticed hairline cracks running along the length of the hinge. A week later a large split appeared from under the centre window down to the top of the locker opening. Back to Elddis who have authorised a complete replacement of the front panel. We're still able to use the van but coming home today - the front locker door is coming out of the continuous hinge! Will be contacting Elddis on Monday! Has anyone else had similar problems?

Elddis front and back panels are a big problem for many owners, as we found out when we had a front panel replaced on an Elddis. They replaced it with a thicker panel and it was OK after,  but after having every skylight leaking, we kept it for four years, and know own a German Knaus caravan.  I do hope that this will be your only problem with your caravan.

Many thanks. Elddis have supplied a new front but the reporters have rejected it as it's of poor quality! A replacement will be set at the end of this week. We wait with baited breath.......
