We’ve found many a bargain in Aldi ourselves. But you might not find that their generators are such good value after you’ve been ostracised for using it on a campsite, if that’s your intention. Investing in a good solar panel will win you friends, keep your battery charged and reduce complaints.

We have carried a generator around with for years and never hardly used it .Jenny is right they are now anti-social.we now have 2 100w solar panels and 3 110ah leisure batteries so we would now never need it.Invest your money more wisely in panels and batteries.

That  might  be  ok  for  you  B & J  but  3  leisure  batteries  would  require  me  to  tow  a  blooming  trailer  !!

That sounds like a useful addition. We keep our van in storage and the owner is happy for us to move the van to his EHU for a nominal sum, but we’d need water and drainage to wash the van. With the emergence of battery powered tools, surely most solutions would be cheaper than a generator.
