Hello all,

We'll shortly be on our summer holidays heading from Love2Stay at Shrewsbury to Pembrey CMC site. I'm just wondering if anyone can advise on the best route to take towing a big van. The whole area is new to me and Google is giving me lots of options, could just do with some advice from anyone who knows the area.

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps use the most direct route down to Abergavenny, then Merthyr T and across to Swansea, follow the club directions at Llanelli and have a good stay! smile

    From Shrewsbury I would take the M54, M6, M5, A40 - A449 - M4, A4138, A484

South on A49, it's the most direct and scenic route, to Hereford then A465 to Abergavenny. Then as suggested by Brue.

I should have added to my original post to avoid the M6/M5 going through Birmingham, see HERE the ongoing roadworks on the Oldbury Viaduct are causing delays. The other routes are better.
