a two year old van with 80% damp....am I missing something?

shouldnt the dealer be grovelling to you and fully refurbishing your van FOC and not selling you another one....

wheres the incentive to improve the service and product?

they should be giving you a new van for dishing up that load of crap last time...

    unbeliveable undecided

'not a great outcome' I'll say it isn't.....bloody cheek......

I agree but had no choice when damp was done who would buy by van when the pdf service report shows 80 precent  damp

That 'van will be back on sale shortly!  80% damp sounds like a fish tank.

Is this for real? Or a wind up?

Did Gerald Wiley not do a sketch with a hackney carriage, something like 'phantom raspberry blower of olde london towne'.

    I have to fully agree.

What I don't understand is was there no damp water/ingress warranty with you two year old caravan? I have 10 years with mine ( provided it is serviced once a year)

my 2 year old delta ri had 60% damp in floor under toilet and bed so they repaired at there expense, what the point of a 6 year ingress warranty if you are just going to swap a van every time there's damp. Money to burn comes to mind.

I sense we haven’t got the full story, there is something which doesn’t add up for me. Can you clarify why you haven’t invoked the warranty? Or is the dealer taking the warranty liability and offering you a part ex deal as if the Caravan wasn’t damp? Even so, I would be expecting a stonking good deal.
