Hi, Just been looking at some sites and have noticed a lot of new site plans in colour very different from the black and white previous ones and showing the hard standings in squares or oblong and grass pitches in round,  service pitches in dark red a lot different to the old plans, not all sites have been done yet but a big improvement.

Broadway, Cirencester, Moreton in Marsh plus a few in Cornwall not looked at them all would take to long but curious to see which also a few in South, Nunnykirk, Kinlochewe in the North.

Hope this helps, had to laugh to myself looked at one site not sure which and did not show any Warden's or Assistant Wardens compound on so will this be a DIY site!!!

Just had a look. Plans look a lot nicer. Anyone noticed the Glamping Pod area on the MinM site plan?wink Bound to ruffle a few feathers, unless it is a typo, and it should be tents......laughing

Just had a look, much clearer than the old version.

Baltic Wharf also has a new colour plan. Is this a good sign re it staying open

I notice they are over twice the size of the old ones, I hope the site can stand it.😀

Yes 10 pods club will get more money from them and they will be available all year.

Crossways still not showing pitches and they have some trees on the plan but there are a lot more as we used to stay there a lot even had a seasonal many years ago but not been for a few years.

Do agree the plans look a lot better with some colour on them.

They had the diagram but I don't recall the statement about pitching nose in, but I stand to be corrected! smile

Why doesn't the pitching plan show the car a doors width away from the van?

Any hardstanding that doesn't have this necessary allowance is not wide enough. I have been told off in the past for having my nearside car wheels on the grass - Tough!

    I won’t correct you because it wasn’t there, M.

We noticed on our last trip out a couple of weeks ago that more wardens were saying we could pitch either way but the site plan still showed the same old.

New site plans look good. Note there is some fresh photography and drone video clips too, very nice.

M in M pods look as though they’ve been sited on the dog walk, which has been moved beyond the play area.

Assume the drainage has been sorted out then for the glamping area, as it was a mud bath in winter.

Must just have been on the sites that have the best views when nose in, we did use quite a few of those last year.

Wardens were positively encouraging nose in parking.

Same at the CCC sites we have used recently, though they unfortunately do not have site plans available to hand out, or even on line.

Would be useful to put on the site App.

Are the colour versions being printed on the back of the receipt as the mono colour ones where the sites have them?

In our few years of CAMC have always noted the request to pitch differently. Have done so at Longleat, Bladon Chains, Trewhethett Farm, Baltic Wharf. The Racecourse sites lend themselves to go nose in too.

We pitch nose in on most sites as our lounge is at the rear. Wardens were quoting the alternative on the majority of sites we visited recently and it had nothing to do with views.

In previous years a lot of wardens recited the driver's side rear corner to the peg ritual without the option. We found it simpler to nod in agreement before pitching nose in.smile

Yes, the pods really are in a damp area and what a long squelchy sprint to the wash blocks. We've used M in M a lot in the past but it just looks too crowded now. The site plan designs are better, so that's one improvement.
