Are the June dates to be released today? I have not seen anything about it on the web site. At the moment it is just showing May and allowing you to browse, rather than saying uploading new sites or bookings starts at ....

Due to the new system, I have the BH and a few days at the end of May booked and would like to secure the rest of the week.

    Steve, anyone looking for booking release dates needs to keep an eye on Club News in the "what's on" section at the top of the page. I think the release date is June 6th.

    Thanks brue.  I'll do that in future.

    To me the UK club sites home page seemed the logical place to look and it is not mentioned there.

    It seems we are going to get a different day each month.

    This is the problem with this rolling monthly booking, 12 frenzy days a year instead of 1 and you have to remember each month if you want to book.  I cannot even book my holidays at work for next year till December!!!

    It does seem strange that there are different dates each month. Maybe that's just until the new system has bedded in? Although we probably won't make use of the new system I do think it will prove to have advantages over the old December frenzy when everyone was trying to book Easter, Summer and all bank holidays, along with other special events, in one fell swoop.

    I wonder if they will put July and August togther? And if so from when?

    I suppose July and Auguest bookings for 2019 will be a big test of the system in terms of bookings as it could be a very popular time?

    Rowena did say that certain months such as July/August would be released together. We shall see.

    That would be logical to have the details in the holidays area, I have lost track of which sites won't be on the system, due to redevelopments etc., can anyone point me to that? (I looked up one site and it's not available, there is a list I think?)

    Which site was not available Brue?

    All I recall is that some sites that have work programmed might be excluded for certain periods and also racecourse sites where race days might not be known.

    It was a race course site, but I hoped they might have updated by now. There is a list floating around somewhere but you need the usual lamp and magnifying glass to find it! wink

    Some sites may be opening slightly later than usual due to redevelopments or for other reasons. At present the following sites are planned to open later than usual in 2019:

    Chatsworth Park
    Commons Wood
    Illfracombe
    Merrose Farm
    Modbury
    Northbrook Farm
    Penrhos
    Plymouth Sound
    Scarborough West Ayton
    Sutton-on-Sea
    Tewkesbury Abbey
    Tredegar House
    Racecourse sites
    Pitches at the below racecourse sites for 2019 will be put on sale in due course once we know the dates of specific race day events.

    Thirsk
    Warwick
    Great Yarmouth
    Uttoxeter
    Cheltenham

     

    ...

    Perhaps its the first Wednesday of each month that bookings open, at 08:45
