A shout out to the wardens
Been caravanning for four years now, so still relatively newcomers. Thought it was about time we recognised the hard work of the majority of wardens.
They have to pander to our needs, try and keep us safe from harm - often self inflicted, maintain the rules and smile.
Often maligned by those who they are there to look after - jobsworths comments etc etc
I have found the majority exemplary, hard working(more hours than paid in most cases) knowledgeable and great representatives for the Club.
So my thanks to them all for helping us enjoy our breaks.

But it's possible to do a job as a rude grump or, as most wardens do, with a smile on the face and a friendly helpful approach.
Never mind, you'll be able to retire one day.

Couldnt agree more ,dealing with the public all day ,every day ,head on can be very testing .
we think the wardens do an excellent job.

Many thanks to the OP for this and the following comments. Most site teams do go the extra mile on a daily basis including the amount of goodwill offered by wardens!

I think they all go above and beyond being a paid employee. They live on site, will help out with technical issues after their shift, they take a pride in their site.
Anyway we all get/got paid for doing jobs but doesn't it make life better when you're told your doing a good job? Never happen to you?0 -
Many thanks too you all .It goes a long long way.
Keith and Sarah.
