Speeding on Site
My wife and I have recently spent a week on the Bridlington Site. We actually pitched on the new section and it was absolutely great. The pitches were all level plenty of room between each pitch and the grassy areas were kept well mowed. The toilet block set in the centre was not too far from any pitch and kept immaculate. We pitched on the straight section of road and were amazed at how many Cars//Caravans and Motorhomes that were seen to speed down the straight section. As we all know the speed limit on sites is 5MPH and it is clearly marked on the roads. On the new part there are no speed humps which is good and how long do you think that this will last if people do not adhere to the speed limit. These selfish people will probably be the ones who moan the most if speed humps are installed. So come keep to the speed limit, safer for Children, Old Folks and all of us.

We can just C&P our comments from the other thread to save thinking about it.

Yes I have commented again as I couldn't find the original rant. Sorry to have you read it all again but I feel very strongly about speeding as we all have children/dogs or are getting a bit older. Believe ne down that straight section 20MPH was not uncommon.

Your original 'rant' was moved into the appropriate section.

GH - if you start from the "latest activity" tab on the home page, it won't be hard to find the original, believe me!
In the meantime, I've reported this, not because I disagree with you or think there's anything wrong with having the discussion, but just to avoid unnecessary duplication.

You’ll also find it easily from your own profile, GH.

Somebody had moved from where i posted it. No I don't have a calibrated speed gun but having been a driver for more years than i can remember i know the difference between 5MPH and damn fast Mr Dorset Driver.
Thanks for reporting me mousley next time perhaps when you see a speeder on site you will report THEM.

I guess as it was about speeding on site then the UK site section is the appropriate place.
Finding your posts via your profile is foolproof, GH.

There is a long running thread on this subject in the UK Campsites section of the forum here To avoid duplication can I ask that posters use the linked thread for discussing this subject. I will close this thread.
Thanks
David
PS Have you added a review of the site in question mentioning the points you raise here?
