just got back from Englethwaite caravan site and had a lovely week. The only thing that spoilt the holiday was that the pitch we were on was under trees and the caravan and car were covered with tree sap. We got home this afternoon and have spent hours cleaning the caravan and car. Lots of hot soapy water and elbow grease.

One reason we try to avoid pitching under trees.  When it rains, they also drip all night.

Hi Charlie, It happens to me all the time as I pitch up in the pine forests down the west coast of France. I get home and Google the problem and it tells me to use stuff like snake oil. So I just scowl at the problem. In the end the sap dries hard, goes powdery, washes off on the rain,  and blows away in the wind. It's the scowl that does it. Keep practising.

Glad you had a good week.
