hi got my membership renewal thought we were getting a great deal on saving £12 on booking our sites but pitch fees are different from serviced pitch

can I ask what a non member would pay on getting on our sites or is it members only

do you think our sites are getting a wee bit costly

I always try to get on certified locations now rather than club sites as cost is better

no, cheap as chips - compared to some

I always try for club sites rather than CLs as the standard is bettersmile

I do agree, and wonder whether there are actually any non members using Club sites.

Those from 'over there' that I have witnessed booking in have been members. They have chosen CC (or C&CC) sites for the network and standard I suspect without having to do too much research. If staying 4 nights who would not join?

    hi [Deleted User User]

you would be amazed the standard of the smaller sites every amenity you would need

even a loan of a spade when it is less than £4 a night  wink

The general standard of public lavatories may be posher CS,  but the downside is choosing  boring supermarket carpark clones with absolutely no character  , against CL's of independent thoughtful design, in beautiful Scenic rural locations.

Not too many discerning people want boring holiday locations, even if the public bogs are posher.

    wink

even a loan of a spade when it is less than £4 a night

I hope the spade is not needed becaus of the absence of the manicured facilities!

Just stayed on a "camping in the forest" no-facs site with beautifully manicured grass and not a mower in sight.

Back in the 70/80s we always used Roundhill - a proper campsite utilising all the qualities of the New Forest -you can't beat seeing the mares and foals being only yards from your caravan.

I hope it hasn't changed too much

    Dogs are allowed
