Hope someone can offer some advice. Our caravan mattress has a water stain caused by a wet dog getting on it. We have tried some stain removers on it without success. These are the type that are normally applied to stained clothing before ashing. Does anyone have any ideas or experience of what could be used to remove the stain.

Many thanks in anticipation of help.

We had similar but caused by a leaking baby bottle. The only way to shift it, and shift it it did, was to use our Vax carpet cleaner and its hand held upholstery attachments. Applied the Vax stain remover liquid first (neat) and then the Vax did the job.

If you don’t want to buy your own carpet/ upholstery cleaning kit, the items can be hired, or google upholstery cleaning and have someone visit you. They’ll need mains power, but their steam cleaning apparatus can be very effective.
