we are in the process of ordering a new swift exclusive 6ew which is basically a Quattro ew with a few extras. We got it at a really good price however we asked the dealer if we could have the mtpln raised as it states you can depending on the model on the swift website and to contact your dealer. I have emailed them and they have emailed swift to ask, has anyone had any experience in raising the mtpln on a Quattro swift?

Thanks in advance

Jon

Welcome to Swift Quattro EW ownership! We too have a 2016 dealer special version of the same van albeit much prefer the more contemporary styling of the latest version. AFAIK the MTPLM can be updated to 1800kg and if done on the production line is FOC.

If you get yourself over to Swift Talk forum there is a Quattro EW section and lots of ideas for tweaks to your van. For example we have fitted an electric towel radiator in the bathroom, slide out rack unit in cupboard next to fridge/cooker, additional shelving inside lockers and wardrobe, upgrade jockey wheel ( factory supplied is rubbish) and so on. We also have a Powrtouch AWD mover which for us is essential.

When do you expect to take delivery?

We take delivery on 16th June. We would love an awd motor mover but unfortunately funds don’t allow us to get one at the moment.

im waiting to be approved by an admin for swift talk.

Not long to go! Look forward to seeing you on S/T soon. If you are already experienced at manoeuvring a van without a mover you should be ok, We simply could not get our Caravan parked up outside our house without one.
