Nice that some of us are going to get some sun and more important warmth, sadly not here. Still pretty cold and the wind doesn't help, more like February than May.

Our plans for the holiday weekend are to get the MH ready for going away to France. Also a visit to our eldest grand-daughter at her boarding school on Sunday.

Hope those going away have a good time and the weather is good to you.

We'll be on the CC's Clachan site as from tomorrow, however I don't expect that we'll get the warm sunny weather that's forecast.

'Fraid not Nellie, think its going to be overcast and more than likely still cold, don't think it will be shorts weather surprised

Hope you enjoy yourselves though despite the weather.

We'll be enjoying the sunshine at Chatsworth and getting some good walks in. On Sunday we have the Irish Setter Rescue sponsored walk at Matlock - looks like it's going to be perfect weather for it! smile

It's May, TG, so it's shorts for me whatever the weather.wink It wasn't the best of days today but we managed a 3hr walk along the WHW beside Loch Lomond, with only a short shower. However the rain came in after we got back to the van and we cannot see the hills on the far side of the loch or the top of Conic Hill at the moment.yell

We are going up to the smoke for Grand Designs Live as we got free tickets on the mobile phone account app, on Sunday. Will probably do a London Eye trip and possibly Madame Tussauds with our family Merlin Passes to make a day of it.

As we are just off out to collect MrsPs new car purchased on the CAMC offer (16% discount, £500 deposit contribution and free retractable tow bar) it'll give it a run in trip.

This part of the effluent sarf will see hoards heading to the coast, so best go the other way.

Enjoy wherever and whatever you are doing.

Just waiting for the sun to shine on the front of the pitch, 22C already and 10th day of sunshine. It is forecast for another 60 days, fully serviced pitch right on the seafront and all for £22 a day, even the sunshine is included in the price....Rovinj, Croatia!!

Unfortunately I’ve been laid up for thr last 5 days with a urine infection which is something I hope I don’t have to relive again ,it’s still far from right ☹️

Have a great bank holiday everyone and drive safely😊

Just got back from Cirencester Park, which was our first trip out since we decided to get back into touring. A bit pricey, around £85 for the three nights, but a fabulous site in a great location. The walk through the park into town was a real highlight, not to be missed if you’re ever there. The weather wasn’t bad either, makes a change!

    Cheers, Freddy.

Been a wonderful sunny warm weekend.  Really enjoyed the weekend in the garden.  Loungers and BBQ being the order of the day.   No traffic jams. No crowded public spaces. Peace and relaxation.  Plenty of time to go touring when the weekend is over.

Off to tour the Fife fishing villages today.
