Thetford Toilet draining

Hello

I have an Elddis dealer special, based on the Avante/ Affinity range.

It is fitted with a Thetford toilet which takes its flush water supply from the Aquaroll/main water supply.

My previous van had a Thetford with separate water supply filled from outside the van and come winter it had an easy to locate drain pipe.

The current set up does not have an apparent drain point and this winter we have suffered a frozen pipe which fractured.

Has any one got the same system and know how to ensure the toilet water supply pipes are empty?

    Thanks for the reply.

The manual that came with the van refers to the previous system I had hence my question to the wise people on here.

Warranty!? Elddis only gave a year on components and it is a 2016 so no. It was not an expensive repair though.

No. Finger in the button did not work. Once the barrel of water has run dry the pressure stops. I had hoped that draining down as normal would remove the remainder but apparently not.

So my question remains for anyone with the same system. How did you ensure that all water was removed for winter?

just drain your system there is no tank for the toilet so the pipes will drain with the rest of the van, open all taps and blow down shower tube. also goo idea to drive round to shake the dregs out.
