We called in to East Neuk Campervans while passing through Anstruther a couple of days ago.  We particularly liked the superior build quality, the layout and the extensive inventory making the "Fifer Tourer M" an ideal Campervan for those who like to be self sufficient and tour in areas where electric bollards are few and far between.  --  See  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz7NYVatFkE

The grey/black plastic bumpers look awful, they need painting like most other M/H's have.......

Within a few years they will have faded in the sunshine (well maybe not where you live K...wink) and look even worse.....

    Otherwise, a nice van......

I am a very satisfied Fifer "M" owner. On my second "M" now.

The innovative design means that the base vehicle is not messed about with unnecessarily. For example the compressor fridge means there are no fridge vents on the outside. To my mind this has advantages as regards build integrity and price. The bumpers and side protection on the base vehicle (which is of course a commercial workhorse) are designed for protection from minor scuffs bumps and scrapes which a delivery van cannot avoid. My last fifer had a painted front panel which in time became pitted by stone chips etc inevitably as it was used.

Consequently I like the protection which is a feature of the original design. To paint the front is in some ways a triumph of form over function for a van which is used to roam far and wide (as opposed to one which "poses" on a site.

But a painted front bumper is on the options list if you want one.

Another plus is that if somebody needs an automatic, the same motorhome layout and facilities can be built into a Fiat base vehicle.

The build quality and layout of the Fifer M is absolutely stunning.
