Hi 

 

popping along to carfest weekend  in July 

any ideas what other areas we could visit while in that part of the world for a week

adults and children

    How about Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre (www.jodrellbank.net), Beeston Castle, Cholmondeley House, and Delemere Forest?

    If the children were younger there's the ice cream farm near Tattenhall and the candle workshop near Burwardsley but neither would be of much interest to secondary age children. 

    The Crocky Trail in Waverton?  Old clothes essential as it's always muddy.

    Chester Zoo is amazing.  You'll get a full day out of it 

    Trip to Liverpool on the ferry.  

    There's quite a bit to see and do but if you're using Bolesworth as a base you'll be doing a fair bit of driving
