At last the sun is here! Is anyone out in their vans enjoying the good weather or does anyone have any plans for the weekend? cool

Alas, we have to return home soon, but Merrose Farm is very pleasant just now. Had a walk up to the farmshop over the road, fresh crab, lobster and scallops for sale. Hedgerows full of wild flowers, fields full of cows and calves plus noisy bull so gave the coastal path a miss. Admired nature's bounty safely from behind a gate with blue sea just ahead. laughing

Soaking up the sun at Cirencester Park. Due to Mrs M's hectic social schedule, I've  just got Lady for company ( and no one to share the wine with!) wink

The first weekend of our latest trip away, and we will be spending it on a CL near Dumfries. Well at least the van will as we'll be out and about the area each day, especially if the weather continues in it's current vein.

Have been a slow starter this year but this week took the winter cover off the van, dropped it off the axle stands, refitted leisure battery and flushed the water system with a strong Milton solution etc etc. Hoping to get away on Sunday! Hurray!

Unfortunatley we are not away this weekend as we have a family christening this weekend. Still can't complain as we were away last weekend.

Just spent thu through to Monday at Cleethorpes ( sorry not CC site )

It was just me and the dogs and cat. It was a beautiful weekend and I even got sunburnt.

No electric hook up but with a 100w solar panel and plenty of sun, who needs it?

nice one, plenty of smaller 'no-facs' sites to choose from...smile

one reason why we really like the C&CC Temporary Holiday Sites, generally no EHU.....keeps the numbers downwink

Off for 2 nights Sun/Mon prior to our 7 week trip to France, make sure everything is working ok and test the arm/shoulder after having the Op done. C&MC site just an hour away but it will be fine.

Caravan virtually packed. Lists printed out (but still bound to forget something). Off tomorrow to catch the ferry to Hook of Holland to start our 8 weeks away touring Southern Germany and the Netherlands.

Hope everyone has a super time wherever they are.

All those just heading out, or those that shortly will be, enjoy your tours. This will be our second weekend of our current trip, and we're on a CL at Sanquhar.

Cancelled a site booking at short notice, so will probably get one of ""those letters"".

My idea of Motorhomeing with awning in 40 mph winds and 50 to 75 mm of rain, with advice not to make unnecessary journeys has sort of dampened our enthusiasm !
