Hi all. I have been reading some of the threads here and am excited to join the escapees as soon as possible. We pick up our Sundance next month but I am already planning and listing and mapping and telling everyone from friends and neighbours to the postman! We will take your advice and go local for a night before our first trip to France. And try not to take too much stuff - tempting though it is. 😊 Only been camping before. I am hoping it will be a bit warmer than in a tent 😀

Looking forward to reading about all these adventures on CT and to sharing some of our own too.

Hello and welcome to our fabulous hobby and CT.

Don't know where your post has been, as I tend to check out new discussions daily, but this site has its own individal foibles 😉 as I'm sure you'll find if you haven't already 😂.

Lots of help and advice on here as you may have found. Sometimes several thoughts on the same subject,  proving there isn't just one way! The search facility isn't great on here either 😉 so ask away.

I'm sure you'll take it to readily but don't be tempted to overfill your motorhome, weight can be a big issue - check out your available remaining pay load after essentials, fuel water, Driver passenger etc as some motorhomes have very little spare. There are threads on here about it.

    That said enjoy.

The post will have been in limbo waiting approval, Bakers. That’s a mighty long time, though.

Welcome, C&F, and I hope you enjoy your new van.
