wheel Balancing

Perhaps they didn't need it, maybe they are stickons behind rather than rim. Either way mine when purchased new had them stuck on the rear of the wheel, tyre fitters did the same when I renewed the tyres last year.
A caravan and all its flimsy fittings has to tolerate enough vibraton and hammering on the roads with its archaic suspension, without additional vibration from unbalanced wheels.

Hi Metheven, going to take them next week to get them balance, a friend also has a Compass under a year old and his has no sign of the wheel being balance, weights on outside rim or stick on the inside, just posted on here to see if that was the norm it will be interesting to see when I get them check, as you say the van does not need extra vibration special on a long motorway run.

Hi 'KSKAT', Others may have differing opinions, and travelling in a car it will be felt if the cars wheels are unbalanced. But a caravans vibration may not be felt from within the car, and could certainly lessen the life of the archaic ALKO rubber insert type suspension.
Good move to get them balanced👍

Definitely a good move to get them balanced. We once had a cvan that started shaking to bits - literally - getting the wheels balanced helped a lot and fitting shock absorbers made a difference as well.

off topic but when you think about it it's amazing that the weight of a large packet of crisps can make a difference
