Thanks Brue & Cariadon, just so frustrating having it again.

I had all sorts planned to do while OH was in recovery yell plants sat waiting to be potted up while others waiting to go into garden. Mind you the garden still thinks its in winter so not too bad.

The Forsythia and Flowering Currant have made a start but still lots of bushes to be cutback, I tend not to do them in the autumn like you can down south but leave them strong for winter then prune hard in the spring. I've also got a fair few hosta to lift and divide, oh well I'm sure at some stage it will all happen.

I hope the GP is able to give you something to help Tammygirl and you both start feeling better soon.

Luckily OH is feeling a lot better so we are able to go to see Elkie Brooks at our local theatre this evening. We booked it ages ago.  Also we are having a 'First Class Dining' lunch on the Great Central Railway tomorrow. I bought for OH's birthday last year but we thought we would for spring before we went so we can hopefully enjoy the scenery during the journey.

The sun has just come out here cool

Back from Dr's and mixed news, no temp (knew that) no chest infection, no ear infection but I do have Laryngitis, so no medication to take just steam inhalation and rest voice (OH happy about that) here's hoping all will be well in a few days more.

Thanks all for your kind words.

Millie,  have a great night tonight and a lovely day tomorrow.

AD, having had bronchitis and pneumonia in the past I am always nervous if a chest infection is lurking, thankfully not this time.

Well look after yourself TG and make the best of some enforced rest, no doubt you will be busy enough soon. Hope you both have a better night.

Arrived a bit early for work so a few minutes to catch up on here.

We're pitched at Littlehampton CMC site having arrived at 12 noon. Lovely sunny afternoon. We recognised the wardens as they were at Northbrook Farm site last year.

Working until 9 p.m. tonight so just three and a half hours to do.

Sounds like a great weekend Millie. Must be 30+ years since I last saw Elkie Brooks.

We may, if it rains, go this weekend and see one of Mrs Ones cousins, will be first time in forty plus years.

Went to Wallasey Island, walked about 6 miles, plenty about

Plenty of time to consider your options then once you've 😉 spoken to HO. But you'll  need a plan B in case you don't succeed even if your site isn't closed. Hopefully your wife's visa will be sorted soon too allowing you to consider your future plans.

Milliehull glad your OH is much better, enjoy your evening and tomorrow's dining. Hopefully you'll have decent scenery, weather permitting, a s the hedges and trees are beginning to have leaves but don't obsuc the view.

I wish I had OH's laid back way, car is ready for collection 😃. Luckily just the spring, he'll collect tomorrow hopefully son will take him over but should he get up early 😂😂 he'll go on the bus with his bus pass. He didn't ask the cost 😲😲

Millie, have a lovely evening and lunch tomorrow. I like Elkie Brooks, great voice.

It's been a breezy but sunny day  dashed to the farmers market and then work, I see forecast is going downhill now it's the weekend .cry

This site is playing up again. I really thought it had lost my post above 😤. Most surprised to see it when I felt brave enough to attempt a new login and retype. On the plus side I've not had that pop up appear this afternoon 😆.

OH has a cough but not as bad as it was. Shoulder is fine now he says, no painkillers taken for 3-4 days now, Physio very pleased with him yesterday, gave him more exercises to do to get to next level, back to see him again in 3 weeks.

Glad you're getting car back with just the spring to be replaced, shouldn't be to expensive. OH did one on my car last year.

Sounds like a great weekend Millie. Must be 30+ years since I last saw Elkie Brooks.

Strange how these things happen but last night we watched 'Jane McDonald and friends' which we had recorded last week. Her special guests were Elkie Brooks and Lee Mead.

Hope you are on the mend soon Tammygirl .

    Thanks Helen.

I reported the issues on the CMC facebook page, and Dean was looking into it, looks like he succeeded with the pop up.

Same for my OH Deleted User User. After a few doses of bronchitis one winter a few years ago he was, we feel, misdiagnosed with COPD and is now  supplied with antibiotics to keep in reserve. Very useful but it plays havoc with holiday insurance if we declare it.

Take care of yourself tammygirl. Glad to hear you have no infection. Hopefully you will feel better soon.

Glad to hear you are getting your car back bakers2. I hope it won't be too expensive.😲

Elkie Brooks was fantastic. What an amazing woman. Her voice is as wonderful as ever and she looked fantastic. Co-incidentally I sat next to the sister of a great friend of mine and we googled her in the interval and found she is 73!! It was a really good evening.

CLs cost a lot more than a seasonal pitch on a club site, Bakers2 and two nights in a hotel or B&B would cost a lot more than 2 nights on a club site. I don't think my credit limit on my Tesco credit card will stretch that far!

Funny you should say that, Metheven because I just had an email from the salesman to say that it's top on the list of the production line for its build! So hopefully it won't be too long now.
