According to info given here :- . early in April 2018 the Club will put on sale pitches for April 2019; early in May 2018 the Club will put on sale May 2019 and so on. I have been in touch with HQ today to be informed that emails will be sent tomorrow stating that booking for nex April will be available on 11th April, not exactly early in the month. I hope that given the new system a definite date will apply for the forthcoming months otherwise for people who like to book in advance it will be an absolute nightmare and in no way an improvement over the old system IMO

Anything must be better than trying to book at 7am in December. Thank goodness we are slowly catching up with private sites.

Personally the old system worked fine for us, 12 months of bookings all done on one day 👍

Agreed. The new system certainly isn't going to be an improvement if the date varies. Paticularly for those who have booked some days at the end of a month and want to be sure of getting a few more at the beginning of the next.

...but this also happened under the 'old' system....

the club decided on an arbitrary date to release chunks of availability and chose (goodness knows why) the 3rd January as one break point.

so all folk who were looking for the New Year week at a particular site (surely not an unusual thing to want to do) had to wait until the second tranche of availability (sometime in October/Nov??) to try and book the rest of the holiday....

why not the end of Jan....or mid Feb or.....but bang in the middle of new year week....you really couldn't make it up....undecided

Did you ever have a problem booking the rest of the break? Were the sites fully booked? I doubt it

or one could have found another non club site that allowed you to book as you wish. Or are club sites so much better for you?

I expect that All Club sites will be in the system but, obviously, not affiliated sites necessarily. The only exception for CC sites that I would expect are those where improvement works are scheduled to close the site for a period

Also racecourse sites may not be available until race days are known
