Could be modified

I have just received delivery of my new 2018 Swift Challenger 480ALDE and I am delighted with it. There are two things I would suggest that Swift could modify. Firstly the Sargent consumer unit in the bed locker box is placed with the access to the on/off illuminated switches and the mcb’s and 12 volt services fuses,  facing upwards, which means to access them entails trying to lift up the quite heavy seat. On previous Swift Sport I had, the same unit used to be accessed from the front drop down bed locker lid. The second item, and this refers particarily to the 480 which has the long fridge. When checking that prior to moving off, that the 12 volt supply from the car is working ok, usually by seeing a constant blue light “on” via a side window opposite the fridge, this is now, on the 480, not possible as all the selection options and confirmation lights normally seen, are now all hidden by the full length fridge door which covers up all said instrumentation. This means once the car engine is running, you now have to go back into the caravan, open the fridge door so that you can see if the blue light is constantly on. Just a small couple of things for Swift to be made aware of. Otherwise cracking van Swift, well done and I like the new Powertouch mover fitted on all the 2018 Swifts.
