Bailey Unicorn single Axle Fridge
Anyone had a problem with the tall fridge fitted to the Unicorn 2016 range being over cold. When we set ours on the lowest (warmest) setting the fridge (middle shelf is still indicating -1c which means the fridge freezes solid food which should be chilled. Our dealer says there is nothing wrong with the fridge after having it on test for 4 weeks, although they do not say how they test the fridge and what criteria they use.
Any views would be helpful.

Are you using winter covers on the fridge vents. I’ve found that my fridge was freezing food during colder spells. Using covers solved the problem on my Valencia 3

many thanks, contacted local engineer done and sorted Just reiterates what rubbish some dealers are, 5 weeks wringing hands, sorted it with your help in less than an afternoon. Thanks again

Faulty intermittent faulty thermostat which apparently is a well known fault with tall Dometic fridges. 1 1/2 hour job to replace. Service engineers currently booking 6 to 8 weeks ahead, so in meantime will switch fridge on and off to manage cold levels and to save the cucumber from freezing. Bit feed up with the lack of proactiveness by the caravan dealer !!!

I have same fridge on unicorn s3 it does not like the ( very expensive ) vent covers and has a mind of its own temperature wise when we fit them in cold spells .We caravan year round and it`s fine in warmer weather . I think it is the nature of the beast
