Anyone  know if fishing is available on site or nearby

    No need, there's a fish and chip shop in the village.

    Good trout and Grayling fishing in the Ure and tributaries. Permits available from the site. More info on Web or from the outdoor shop by the bridge. Mostly fly fishing, with the tributaries quite overgrown. Main river opposite club site more open. Permits quite cheap. The river is quite heavily fished so don't expect a bumper catch, but fishing for Grayling goes on through the Autumn.

    Hope fish & chip shop as plenty  of chips as it looks like l won't be catching many fish
