Hi!

we have an old caravan and the water heaterhas failed so we`re looking for a simple and cheap solution to get a replacement. (Just not worth spending much more that £100 due to the age of the caravan)

i`m hoping we can get a small 10L mains electric heater (unvented?) but I`m struggling to get one that specifies it`s suitable for low water pressure as it would be fed from a standard 12v pump.

the minute I look for a caravan suitable heater the price doubles! Does anyone know of a smal simple and cheap electric water heater that is simple and suitable to install?

Thanks for taking the time reading this, even more so if you are able to offer some advice!

René

Try a local caravan breaker.  You may find a nearly new caravan which is an insurance write off, and where the internal bits are OK.  There are lots near us, or rather in East Yorkshire, but you need to find one local to you.  Give them a ring and just ask.

Or a brand new Truma (but only 5 litres) here

Try  Preloved caravan section forum, from memory there is someone who writes on there and is also able to repair Truma  equipment.
