Moorhampton Facilities block query
We're tempted by Moorhampton site near Hereford. The most prominent review on the club website says it's escaped some aspects of modernisation, which appeals in many ways.
My wife is concerned that this doesn't mean an unheated shower block. I'm inclined to agree, I'm not too hardman either
The place is not open yet to answer phone calls, and C&MC booking line adviser can't tell me more than the website says, so we expect it has heating, but....
Has anyone been recently, please, to assert whether the showers are spartan, or more user-friendly for early Spring?
Any other comments on the site would be interesting, but that's the crunch question!
Thanks.

We were there this time last year and the facilities are pretry standard club ones. Shower block is heated and showers are perfectly adequate. It's a very nice site, quiet, loads of walking nearby, including from the site either on quiet lanes or through the orchards just over the road. Easy access to Hereford. I'd say go for it!

Good on you! If you like walking it's a great area - from Breinton (NT car park) you can walk all along the river into Hereford. Weobley is a very pretty "black and white" village and a bit further afield, from Kington, you can walk up Hergest Ridge with far reaching views. Also, just along the road into Hereford, on the left hand side, is a Forestry Commision picnic area and walks, sorry can't just remember the name but it's clearly signposted off the main road. Enjoy!
