Motorhome Warranty’s
Nightmare times with our Motorhome Warranty.
Second time trying to get satisfactory warranty work done on our Two year old Motorhome.
First backwards and forwards trying to get reverse camera fixed. We got it fixed after three attempts.
Now another problem, told it would be sorted after two days. Still waiting one week later.
Promised repair job, should be new fitting really.
Hard luck if we wanted to go away this weekend.

Still haven’t got my reversing camera fixed after two years. Once to the dealers and twice to the factory.

Would you like to put a manufacturers name to the MH you are having problems with - the Motorhome Design Awards 2018 have just been judged and I wondered if your MH happened to be amongst one of the 'Winners' in an earlier year ?

Quote the Sale of Goods Act to them assuming this is the dealer you bought from. Goods have to be of merchantable quality and this is clearly not. Tell them that if it is not fixed to your satisfaction within say 28 days you will get it done elsewhere and issue a small claims summons for the cost. Do not be fobbed off.

Time passes at a totally different rate in a MH dealers....
good advice from WW....they need to know you are serious..
stick with it, this should be sorted amicably...what is the other issue?

I meant this "Now another problem, told it would be sorted after two days. Still waiting one week later."
....or does it refer to 'another problem' with the original issue, though it appears you got the camera fixed.....eventually...

Maybe it's time to name the manufactures who are selling expensive products that are sometimes not fit for purpose, and dealers who are either incompetent or not interested in supporting the product after the initial sale. My experience of Pilote has been disappointing with numerous electrical problems within 12 months of purchase.
