Productive day, Deleted User about twenty thousand photos off the desktop computer.  Then this afternoon went for a walk and ended up buying a mattress🛏

We've been very fortunate with the weather all week up here at Berwick. Today was cloudy to start with but we drove into sunshine as we made our way to Duns. Walked up to Duns Law and The Covenanters Stone before wandering round the estate walk. Found a deer hide for our lunch out of the cold breeze. It was still cloudy towards the coast a s we headed back to the site but the sun came out late in the afternoon.

All I hope now is that the snow that's promised holds off at least long enough for us to get down to White Water Park.

Take care all you that are heading home to day and tomorrow.

    Steve

As far as I am concerned the jury is still out on whether it's a good idea but I will give it a try. My son seems to think its a good idea and there are options to up the amount you pay on a temporary basis if you have more than the usual amount of printing to do. The HP cartridges are fairly small so they should get through the letterbox. I have no idea how the system works yet so will have to wait to make a judgement.

She thinks differently, cariadon. She prefers to see the debts coming down before anything is spent! She sees it as more loving if I don't spend anything! I often get told off for spending too much! Her favourite comment is  'you love spending money, that's why you're in debt!'

Still below freezing here, just tried to break the ice on the pond but really thick. Trying to snow but looks more like dandruff coming down so don't think it will settle for a while. Think its a day for hibernationlaughing

Most of the debts are revolving credit that's interest free. Granted I have to maintain the minimum payments each month but even that costs me nothing because as soon as I have paid it, that money becomes available credit once again!

    Revolving credit or revolving debt?

To me any credit card negative is a debt. Technically even if you pay the full amount off each month, as we do, it is a debt. Just a very well managed one. In my opinion the big flaw in M's approach is the size of the debt and the fact that there appears to be no contingency plan,in the event of being unable to pay the minimum.

Keeps trying to snow here and very cold. The appearance of showers is several hours ahead of schedule, so does not bode well.

Indeed but it is hoped that Malcolm has some contingency funds. Many are only a couple of paydays from trouble. I hope that Malc has some contingency should he be laid off at anytime with a new car loan etc.

I hope so too.🤞 I certainly would not be increasing my debt if I was in his position.

With the amount of debt we think involved £25 for a recliner for your lovely wife is quite cheap. Surprise her with something you have bought for her.

On the bright side you should see the benefit of your investment for many years to come. Our new bed cost us quite a lot but what price is comfort?

Some people go through life on borrowed money, with no thought of the inevitable, then the outgoings is more than the income, then next thing bailiffs are in, and everything gone.

Malcs contingency plan is to borrow from Peter to pay Paul.

We work hard to save a bit of money to enjoy later in life, and if we cannot buy the best, then all the hard work was for nothing.

Snowing hard here now, very big flakes and laying.  Still below zero, all outside chores completed so now staying indoors sorting more photo’s.

We only buy items over £100 on credit card just to provide additional protection.  Also use it when abroad for the benefits previously discussed, but we pay in full each month💴💳💴⚖️

No snow here, but bitterly cold.

My sister in law in Norway was just say that the weather there was "upside down" as they have -18 in Oslo and +2 in Svalbard.
