Another beautiful day here, bight sunshine and no frost, chilly but lovely at the same time.
Off up to sons house again this morning for the final time before we go away, going to tackle the drive today its not big but its full of leaves and weeds. Arms and shoulders are feeling it this morning as is my back and knees.
Going through to Dunblane this afternoon to see Granddaughter at school. Will take her some tuck through and some bits of clothes that we brought home last weekend for washing. Over the next 3 weeks she will have to remember to put things in the laundry at school or her other granny will have to sort her out.

Lovely cold sunny winters day. Off to make the most of it as the weather forecast does not look so good over the next few days. We will probably go to Clumber, although that is likely to be busy at the end of half term, once you get away from the facilities the numbers decrease rapidly.

I finished work on time last night at 10.30 p.m. My wife was waiting for me by the car when I finished; having come out of the Railway pub. She had also done some shopping at Asda. She said there was an hour of live entertainment because of it being Saturday night at the pub. She didn't recognise any of the songs though.
Then we went in the Smart car to the house address to swap over the cars before returning to the club site. We parked outside in the car park by the LNAs as it was well after midnight! Then we had our evening meal. It was 2 a.m. by the time I got to bed.
Another lovely sunny morning here but cold! It's going to be a busy day as we need to get the car back to our pitch and then start taking down the awning and loading up the car ready for tomorrows move to Brighton.

We've been so lucky with the weather this weekend! Another gorgeous, sunny but very cold morning. Just a short stroll with the dogs this morning, we head off home after lunch, the wardens having very kindly said it's OK to stay till 2 this afternoon.

I've now got the Shogun back on to our pitch and we've completed getting the awning down. Now I'm back inside the caravan trying to get warm again! My wife's still outside packing things away. She doesn't seem to be feeling the cold at all! It's hard to believe that we're only 4 days away from the start of Spring!
She's got well organised with the cooking too! There's 3 days supply of cooked meals in the fridge ready to be warmed up in the microwave. Reduced price food, if cooked staright away, can last a while longer if kept in the fridge after cooking and used as microwave warmed meals. She's got this down to a fine art. Like the saying goes, 'necessity is the mother of invention,' and the need to save money on the grocery bill has honed in her skills in this respect! Tomorrow, our site fees will be due for our 18 night stay in Brighton which means a £379.80 spend on my Tesco Club credit card which will earn me another 47 points towards my next statement!

After we check in tomorrow at Brighton, we are hoping we can find a pitch that will enable us to have the awning facing south, so that we can get the sun into the awning, thereby enabling us to have a lovely warm awning to sit out in the relaxer!

Have a nice journey, Chris. Ideal weather for it! With the longer hours of daylight, it's now possible to leave later and still arrive at your destination before dark!

Just got back from the local park after taking the dog's for their second walk of the day. I can't believe what a glorious day it is here in South London. Yes there is a cold wind but the sun is so bright and warm. Shame it's not going to last.

We used to have two but one broke, so just one left! I use it most of the time because she never sits down! She's always on the go! Yes she does flake out at the end of the day at bedtime!

She used to be busy when we had the flat in Wuhan but in a different way. She used to like to go to the market everyday to buy fresh vegetables from the farmers.

What a lovely glorious day, bright sunshine, blue sky and I've been coughing all night, hope it's short lived, the cough I mean. It was too early to be out in the garden this week, now paying for it.

She can't sit down if you only have one relaxer, no point one in the awning and one in the van. As she works so hard looking after you and your little home, and saving you money by being a crafty shopper why don't you treat her to a lovely comfy recliner so she can sit in the awning with you.

Just had to walk to the local shop. It's so clear and bright we even have an afternoon moon.

I did offer but she preferred to save the £25 cost by doing without one! She uses a folding chair instead.

Winter? what winter? Glorious day up here. OK, the wind had a bit of a bite to it but we wrapped up warm and went to Studley Royal and Fountains Abbey and had a lovely walk of about 6 miles. Even took our scarves off having lunch whilst sat on a bench as we were out of the wind. Gorgeous day. Drove onto Ripon to look at the cathedral. Huge thing on the edge of a typical market town. Mrs WN remarked how like the one at Rouen it was and true to form it turns out it was mainly built by the Normans!
Visited the Royal Oak for a looksee, forsaking the promising sounding 'One Eyed Rat" (who names these pubs?).
Might cut and run tomorrow afternoon to ensure we get home for our gas appointment on Wednesday.

On the first install I was instructed to remove the USB lead so you are probably right they won't work on both. Today I decided to remove all the software associated with the printer and start again. I think the issue might have been that it was set up as both wireless and USB which caused a conflict. Started again from scratch and I managed to get to work on both my main PC and Margaret's laptop. I did have to run the Troubleshooter before it finally kicked into action. Only possible issue is that the printer is telling me my contract with HP for supplying ink automatically is showing as cancelled which is a bit worrying although when I go onto the HP page it's still there. Be interesting to see if automatic replenishment of ink cartridges is a worthwhile thing?

Another sunny but very cold day. We visited Canons Ashby, did the parkland walk with the dog first, then took it in turns to look round the house, really interesting I especially liked the "below stairs" rooms.
Had a mooch round the shop and paddock before taking a short detour home via Whistley Woods, forestry commission have been doing lots of tree felling so it looked a bit bare in places.
Home now, and sun going down so getting much colder, forecast doesn't look too good, stay warm folks and take care all those travelling in the next few days .

Glad you got it sorted David. I never took up the automatic ink replacement. It seemed a good idea but I was not sure what size the package would be and if it would fit the letter box. However, I assume they would try and make it compatible with most boxes, as BT does with the router box. Although that was a very tight fit.

Believe me what we women say and what we mean are totally different. As a loving husband I think you have a duty to make sure your darling wife is well provided for, and considering how hard she works pandering to your needs a £25 recliner is a slap in the face, there are dearer luxurious to be had, or don't you think she deserves it.

Hmm, can backfire on you, taffy Y. Feeling frisky one evening I suggested to my good lady that perhaps we could try some different positions.
"Good idea!" she said. "You stand here at the ironing board and I'll sprawl on the settee with a beer".
