£30 can last us 2 months when at home, but we do get through a lot more cash when away!

Cheque is easier, but if a CL says they want cash, we are happy to go along with that.  As long as they do not expect us to arrive with cash if they have not told us beforehand.

I also use Android pay from time to time, but as I always carry the cards with my phone, it's just as easy to pay by card.

I run rallies for a small motorhome club. We have looked into PayPal and card payments but both are quite expensive. Most of our members have cheque books and, if they don’t, or if they prefer, they can pay by BACS. We don’t pay bank charges.

Old-fashioned in many people's eyes: cash or cheque, debitcard, creditcard.  Never used Paypal, don't see the need, as any of the aforementioned should be sufficient.

PayPal is a handy method of payment, particularly when ordering online as its probably more secure than using your credit card. (never use a debit card online) It doesn't cost anything to use. For a small concern like a CL it is probably a cheaper method than accepting cards. Cheques have to be banked so not as easy an option for the receiver as something like PayPal.
