Untangling Jewellery Chains
Wondered how many fellow CTers have been handed a pile of jewellery which originally consisted of something shiny with a very fine shiny chain complete with a hook/clasp thing that is required to be worn very shortly....
I have tried a number of methods but still feel that there must be a simple way to sort out this situation.
How do you unravel or untangle the chain in this sort of situation?

I am occasionally presented with these Gordian knots by the OH. I've found a couple of pins enable individual links to be manipulated which can help.

Combination of CY's pins, and Jay's baby powder. I love the straws idea Jay, have filed that one for later use!

But it's having a "chain reaction"! (Sorry)

Don't forget, once you have untangled them, to hang them on a hook (which should keep them from getting tangled) and make sure that OH handles one at a time, when sorting out which one she wants to wear next.
When untangling, WD40 helps with slippage, but she might not appreciate the perfume.
Sorry to be 4 years late!
