I think Rowena has clarified that apart from the charge for dogs being cancelled the site will run as the 2018 brochure for the site when in comercial hands will stay the same this year, but i expect some corporate alterations to be implemented during the shutdown from November including bringing in line with the latest H&S edits to minimise the chances of Litigationundecided

The bookable hard standings for this year (if available) should please some.

Yorkshire is certainly getting some attention and funding! We passed Rosedale Abbey site this afternoon, hive of activity with contractors putting in hard standings! No doubt this will please many, it could be a rather damp and boggy place, bound to be popular now!

    Well done CAMC!laughing

It's to remain an affiliated site for the rest of 2018, but then should become a full CC site in 2019.....we shall see then.

To me ,it make good business sense to run this new site as it has been run ,so the club can see what works and what doesn't .

I doubt whether there is anything to learn? I could be wrong but the site seems to have a lot of seasonal campers and this could be the reason why the Club have decided to let the site run as is for the first year whilst those contracts naturally disappear. Whilst this is all happening they will be looking at what needs to be done with the site to bring it up to Club normal standards. As to differences in booking procedures we know that the Club system is due for a change anyway.

Is the £2 price differential enough to encourage the take up of grass pitches?

So after looking at this site and seeing that it’s going to be run as before , do I take it that this is the start of the club charging for dogs @£1 per night after years of not charging.

Some, supposedly do not need encouragement. I wonder what availability of hard stand is on a Summer Friday?

That’s not what it says on the pricing page, Extras - pets £1 per night.

I think there might be a few errors. It also says £50 deposit per week or part week. Unless you can't book one night, or even two at cheaper times, that means they will be returning money to you when you book in.

On page 6, Rowena answered some of the questions folk had been asking e.g. .'.....We are not going to charge for dogs this season'.  Hopefully it should be OK.  Perhaps the website was set up before the Club finalised the purchase.

Surely it’s the site's existing website and not something the club's IT people are responsible for compiling?

It's been put on the club's own web site in the site details although Rowena says dogs are free, confusing or what?

Well I cannot access any CC site on the online booking and so I have no idea but would have thought that along with a link to the new site booking system or website that there would have been clarification on aspects such as dogs/deposits.

I can't log off. look at sites, view my profile etc as all I get is 'Page not Found' and the infamous signpost image.

No one's knocking the club,  Corners. The info on the club web site for Clayton appears to be incorrect about extra charges.
