Hello all!

I'm new in caravan club. Just bought a caravan for first time, it's Avondale Godiva 470-2. Not sure how to fit security wheel lock, it's Alko 2. There is no where to screw up or maybe doesn't fit that wheels?

Thanks,

Peter

It is unlikely it will fit unfortunately.   Alko started putting a receiver on the Chassis ( it’s a threaded hole at roughly the 1 o’clock position on the near side wheel) about 10 years ago.  Your caravan might predate this.

The Godiva was a dealer special (Broad Lane?) and would essentially have been something like a Dart with a few upgrades.

I suspect Boff is correct in the supposition that the caravan was probably manufactured prior to introduction of the Alko wheel locks.

A wheel clamp may need to be the answer.

Don't Al-Ko do a retrofit receiver plate?  I seem to recall they used to.. it's essentially the hub back plate with additional bit.  Not sure of cost, but maybe a local dealer (or breaker?) can help.
