Snowing heavily here, and settling at the moment. Rain forecast later though, so will probably disappear.

Very wet and windy here in the Lot and quite a lot of flooding around but we are higher up and the ground does drain well. Friends of ours from Northumberland are going to the Canary Isles on Wednesday for 3 weeks wish we were going as well but it soon will be spring and warmer weather on the way, it is very mild here even upto 16C for the middle of the week.
Take care folks if you are out and about.

Wet sleet this morning, rain all afternoon in South Cumbria. I think you did the right thing booking another night, charlie, reading other post from Yorkshire.

We had some snow this morning but that just meant we had to lie in a bit longer. Then it turned to rain, so no point getting out of a warm bed. If we'd only have stayed with it we could have managed until about 5pm but I think we may have had bed sores.
Now stopped and just cold but no real problems.

Hi
Well, here on site near Alicante it's been unseasonably warm with the mercury touching 26 degrees today.
Been in touch with our area manager this week and he says there's a lot of wind damage on our site in Cornwall so it's going to be a busy set up this year!
Cheers

It’s fine here if you’re a duck. Can’t get the Motorhome back to our storage field as it will be too wet.

Only if I don't mind getting my feet wet.

It was the misery of 3 Cornish winters that drove me back to Sussex from my cottage on the Lizard; grey damp clag sometimes for 10 days on the trot without any trace of sunlight (or human life). I used to think that's what it's like being dead. Mind you it's not much better in Sussex this year and I never have coped very well with winters. Seriously considering spending next winter around the Almeria area.
