Ultimate Caravan Satnav

The traffic information is transmitted along with the Classic FM radio signal, so no-one should be having to pay to get it from the Internet.
My pennyworth is that I use real maps, though I do have a sat-nav which I used to work out the error in the speedometer in the Land Rover, then put it back in the box. It cost me just over £10 from somewhere on the Internet.

The Garmin unit receives traffic data via the power lead connector so I assume it is a radio signal not satellite. As others have said, it’s a bit like the UK gantry motorway warnings where thy forget to turn them off so that more often than not the speed restriction is unnecessary.

We bought a Tom Tom caravan and motorhome sat nav but that gets it wrong some times, so as a back up I plan our route on google maps then any B roads or lanes I can have a look at on street view then if needed change the route if possible
