COACHMAN WARRANTY

My 3 year old Coachman Pastiche 520/4 developed a crack in the side wall in April 2017. I reported this to Coachman immediately via the dealer and eventually was told Coachman Caravans would collect my van in week commencing November 20th. It had to be completely empty. So I cannot move around my garage. After many phone calls to Coachman who do not seem to want to return calls I was told because of Christmas it was unlikely to be repaired and returned until early 2018.

This morning I rang Coachman to enquire about progress All they could say was say sorry they have not yet got round to collecting my caravan. They will get it next week hopefully and  I might get it back by March.

When speaking to the dealer originally they were full of praise about Coachman compared to other manufacturers. They praised their efficiency, their customer care and their speedy work.

Wow and this is supposed to be the 'best' 

I rest my case m'lud

    Going of most of the comments by coachman owners you wonder why you would need a warranty because they seem to be perfect or maybe not.

    Are you " dreamin' " LoL. Nothin's perfect, my 2014 Coachman 560/4 VIP was the worst caravan I've owned ( of 13 new ) that lasted about 3 months. I'm now on my 9th Hymer brand caravan and it is the worst for problems than any other, at 33 grand one could expect better, but have more chance getting a night out with the Pope.

    Are you allowed to say that about ""over there"built  LAs,

    Our dealer thinks the sun shines out of Coachmans backside,they also get free access to Coachmans stand at the shows ,whereas the others charge dealers to be on their stands,I think that might sway a dealer to push a certain makewink

    Some friends of ours in the past always had Bailey's until their present Coachman,which is now going in Px for another Bailey (same dealer)surprised

    Dragjohn, I am sorry to read about the awful Coachman customer service you are having to endure.

    If it was happening to me I would be tempted to have a Tee shirt printed back and front with something like ‘Coachman have 12 month repair backlog’ and walk around their display at the NEC next month. I bet your caravan will be repaired before March. Best wishes.
