Bailey Pursuit 1 weight plate upgrade U-turn

PURSUIT 1 WEIGHT PLATE UPGRADE U-TURN.
Has anyone had a weight plate upgrade on their PURSUIT 1 to 1500kg? if so please see the below e-mail between myself and Baileys, as owners may have been unwittingly overloading their axles by 50Kg! This may have damaged the rubber elements located within the axle (not heard of this problem have we?), i would advise you to contact the supplier from whom you received the upgrade from for verification, if you have any concerns regarding clearance have them instruct an ALKO approved repairer or independant engineer inspect the axle. Baileys have not yet contacted affected owners but are in the process of doing so.

    Only Baileys can provide the upgrade plate even if done through a manufacturer. There has been a similar post saying that an upgrade was not available. When I bought a new caravan a month ago (not a bailey) I made the purchase conditional on an upgrade being provided.

    If my original post wasn't clear maximum weight plate upgrades for the the top 4 models out of the 6 in the range should of only ever been approved to 1450KG NOT 1500KG. 👍

    A number of owners have now received there new sticker of 1450kg
