Try looking up under the bottom of the panel, GRP will be a rough unpainted and fibres will be seen whereas ABS will be smooth and self coloured.

Not on my 2017 GRP rear panel, a Swift Conqueror, its very smooth and surprisingly thick. And definitely GRP.

I can't say for sure but i would expect the Elegance to be GRP also but Swift talk will know.

I no that the later elegance models are grp but am not sure about the 2015!The Swift blurb does not mention the back panel and nobody has answered my query on swift talk.My concerns are reports of cracks on the corners on lesser models with abs panels.

I think you have posted a "Comment" on SwiftTalk which I don't believe will get the response you need.

Try adding a new Post here:

    https://www.swift-talk.co.uk/swift/forum/caravan-general

Use the + icon, top right?

The Newest Posts area is useful to see the most recent posts.

I do have a 2011 Swift with ABS but don't know the answer to your question, sorry.

I look at "new posts" dailey on ST and haven't seen one asking you question, once they see your post you will get a reply with in hours.

Or why not phone Swift customer services.
