Hi all we are thinking of going to Wales and was looking at going to Shawsmead and Aberbran club sites.  However it is ok to tow between the roads as suggested by google maps

Aberbran Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Aberbran Club Site, Aberbran, Brecon, Powys LD3 9NH, United Kingdom

Continue to A40
2 min (0.5 mi)

Continue on A40. Drive from A482 to Ceredigion
1 h 21 min (48.4 mi)

Drive to your destination
26 s (440 ft)
Shawsmead Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Shawsmead Club Site, Oakford, Llanarth, Ceredigion SA47 0RN, United Kingdom

or do you need to do a much larger diversion?  As we have never been to this area before any info would be appreciated

How does it look on the map? Any gradient markers? That’s often the best clue.

You should be OK Tomorrow, all routes through mid Wales have twists and turns but the Lampeter route will bring you close to the site, just follow the club instructions on the last bit. Shawsmead is near Aberaeron.

I should gave said, stay on the A482 through to Aberaeron, you don't need to go to Cardigan.

All our rpas are in good condition. There will be no pavements so be sure to keep an eye on your inside  but for G... sake dont hug the middle. Allow others to overtake, they be working etc. Pull in if necessary. If you see a Mansel Davies ( wales equivalent of Stobart)tanker then you are definately OK. Off the main road to Aberbran site is a narrow but shortish section.
