Malcolm, I have just completed a little pointless exercise. We also have a seasonal booked for part of this year. I calculated the nightly fee if we stopped in the van every night we are allowed and it comes out £5 per night. We, as is most often the case, will not utilise it 100%, or be charging an EV.
How long do you think before the CC realise they are actually paying you to stay on site.🤔

No because it's none of their business! I'm paying for electric hook-up within my site fees and it's up to me which appliances I use within the 16 amps allowed.

No because if I do 30 miles commute from Gatwick, I will need to top up the charge at the car dealer servicing bay before I start work. So I will be using their power for my work.
Commuting, shopping etc. is personal use.

What an attitude to take towards the owners who are trying to keep their cost down ,so that you and other members who use the cl are able to have a very reasonable priced stay, I might just give them a ring and ask what their take is if i came and then needed to charge my EV for hours each day

EHU is provided on the assumption that it is to supply "domestic" requirements. Charging EV's doesn't fall within that assumption. Any significant utilisation for this purpose will soon get the attention of site operators as it is likely to make significant impact on their operating costs. For Malcolm, it might be fun while it lasts but a bill will arrive eventually.

Perhaps the pointless thing is that people tend to over engage on certain subjects and their posters. Whilst no rules are being broken all I can say is the solution is in your own hands?

Well, I for one, made a New Year's resolution NOT to follow, add, comment, rise to the bait, etc. any of the threads relating to EV's / Club charging points / salaries / work / credit cards / fast food deliveries etc.
Mind you, if you took all those topics away, there wouldn't be much left!
Pointless, as that didn't last long. Obviously no staying power!

I did not see any queue there last time I went to have the existing Smart car serviced in December. Everytime I have visited, the charging point was unused.
