Elddis water system Help Needed
Arrived on site today with our 2017 Elddis Crusader Storm.
Filled the aquaroll and started to pump across to the on board tank. The pump in the aquaroll sounded noisy and it stopped at only 40% full, I turned it off and re started it and again it was noisy and only managed to get to about 60% before it stopped. (think it was stopping due to an internal cut out).
Switched over to the internal pump thinking I may be able to clear any airlock and it too was very noisy and very little is coming out of the taps, the longer I leave a tap on the noisier it gets and it does not switch itself off. Reluctant to leave it on too long as it really starts to sound catastrophic. Both pumps sound as though they are stressed and to me like they are running into a blockage, actually they sound like they are running dry but they most definitely are fully submerged,
I have drained down the system several times and still get the same problem. The van was last used in October and was perfectly OK then.
Any ideas please, Christmas holiday in Yorkshire at risk here.

I can't really help, but if it were me I would open all drains, blow back down taps, take off shower hose and blow back down until all was clear and start again.
I would not let it atop me going away though as I would use a 5 litre bottle of water and no tap!

I have already drained down and started from scratch but when I tried blowing back down the shower hose I got some water out of the bathroom tap but then it got impossible to blow and no matter how dizzy I got I could not clear through the pipes. I am now even more suspicious of a blockage somewhere.
We haven't let it stop us coming away because we were already here when we found the problem. If we don't get this sorted It will be 12 days of staying dirt, eating out & drinking beer.

That is all sounding very familiar,
At the moment we are still on site and running our internal pump for 10 seconds at a time. Our external pump doesn't (pump) it just gets louder & louder until it is screaming.
Sorry to labour the point but did your system work again elsewhere or did you need repairs.

When I say gradually gets louder, I mean over a period of 20 - 30 seconds and does it all again if it is turned off for a few moments.
We are alone on site, so (as mentioned) we bought a new pump from a local accessory shop (just hours before the caravan world shut down until new year), the new pump does exactly the same. So the new pump is just as dead as both of the ones in my caravan or something else is going on.

We are also the owners of a second ext. pump, a direct hose here would not help because the bore hole water pressure is so low it won't even expand my roll up flat hose.
I do believe that the problem is the water on site, this leaves the pumps trying to pump bubbles.
The only problem with that theory is that pouring 64 litres of bottled water (32 x 2.0l Lidl bottled spring water) into the system didn't help either.
Perhaps the pumps only work on good old fashioned chlorinated tap water. I just know this is all going to work when I get home so I am compiling some video evidence of the problem.
