Solar battery charger
I have moved my caravan to a secure storage site. I have a Phantom tracker alarm and although I can switch off the motion sensor the satellite signal remains live and gradually drains the battery. There is no electric hookup in the storage are, so the obvious solution would be a solar panel to keep the battery topped up.
I would love some suggestions and hints from members who have solved this problem.

I fitted a flexible 30w solar panel.
It is the same size as the front side window (that was by luck but it fits inside the latches and looks like I meant it!) and I extended the leads on it to allow it to be stowed under the front locker next to the heater and also to be lifted out and placed in the window when in storage. Put the controller next to the heater which is also next to the main 12v electrics. The charging wires need to go through a grommet to the battery unless you have a motor mover in which case you can fit to the motor mover feed cables which are permanently on the battery. Cost about £100 which should be cheaper now.
You could get a roof mounted one fitted but that is probably going to cost £300 plus for the same size.
It really is not difficult if you have a soldering iron and understand what to connect where and how to fuse it properly.
