Leisure facilities on site

We recently stayed at the Seacroft site near Cromer in Norfolk and were pleasantly surprised to find it had a clubhouse with bar. We had planned to nip to a local pub for a meal that evening but tried the clubhouse and were pleased by the quality and price of the meals and the bar. The young lad on the bar said that he thought there was only one other site, somewhere in Devon or Cornwall, that had similar facilities. I can't find out how to search the website for this, where alse has a bar/clubhouse?

    He might be thinking of Hillhead? Don't know this site, but others might. Knaresborough Club Site has a bar/restaurant called the Wanderer. Again haven't stayed, but think others rate it highly.

    Graymee, You might like Langstone Manor Caravan Park near Tavistock if you are ever coming to Devon - it has all those facilities for meals ,drinks and socialising, without being tacky or down market, and is in a delightful situation with open access to the edge of Dartmoor.

    Not used Site EuroT, but the location and area is superb. We love Dartmoor!

    Though not run by the CC, at the Burrs CP Site there is a very nice old pub right at the site barrier.

    Would anyone be willing to compile a list of the current 200+ sites with the distance to the nearest, good pub?

    Navigateur, Approach the problem from a different direction - stay at the pub itself. If you come to Cornwall try the campsite at the Prince of Wales at Helston.
