Hi

we've just joined this club after having been members of the NZ Motor Caravan Association for 4 years. During our travels around NZ we have met people from the UK who have swapped their motorhome with people from NZ. We would like to do this and would be interested in hearing form someone in the UK who would like to travel in NZ.

By swapping motorhomes it frees up more of your funds to spend on your holiday and not on rental fees. We can offer local knowledge of sites throughout NZ , special places to visit and a friendly welcome with the option of staying with us at the beginning and/or end of your travel.

We are planning to come to the UK for 6 weeks sometime between June-Oct 2018. The best times to come to NZ are October to April.

If you are interested in finding out more please email us privately at rose.webber@icloud.com

best wishes

Dennis and Rose

Hi Kiwi's D&R and welcome to CT, can't believe that no one has responded to your your post.  Can't help you personally as we have a caravan and do not have any plans to visit New Zealand next year. Good luck with your search.

    Compliments of the Season, Oneputtlaughing

Hello and welcome from me too. Don' know where your post has been hiding but this website forum is out on its own 😉.

The idea you propose sounds great, but I believe insurance can be an issue here, but that's heresay.

We have a daughter who lives in Hamilton and visit regularly - country made for motorhomes and touring 😆. In fact we're off in a couple of weeks, so no time to explore things this end at present. If you have had no response by the time we return in spring we could explore it further.  Any excuse for return trips 😆😆. Are you based in North or South Island?

Plenty of help on CT regarding sites and touring.

Hello and welcome from me too - I am hoping to make the trip but sadly have a caravan not a motorhome.

You will find lots answer questions about sites and areas to visit - depending on what you like - so ask away.

We live in Tauranga, North Island. An hour's drive to the mud pools of Rotorua, 3 hours to skiing at Ruapehu (Winter) and 10 mins from the best beaches in the country.
