We are considering moving from a 2011 conqueror 570

To a Coachman 575 vip 2015

Any thoughts would be greatly welcome

I have had two Coachman's, a 2007 520/4 VIP, and a 2014 565/4 Pastiche.  Both were excellent. I had a delaminated floor after 12 months with the 520/4 and immediately the manufacturer took it back to the factory and re built it.  Not one fault in seven years after that.  The 565/4 is going on again faultlessly!  If you can cope with the heavier weights the vans are great!

Bonus factor is that the new vans are lighter!

l have just swapped my 2015 Clubman SB in June of this year for a 2014 460 VIP, absolutely over the moon with it, the build quality way above all other vans l have had. wish l had bit the bullet years ago and paid the extra price

Bought a Coachman Wanderer dealer special in 2014 to replace a disastrous Elddis Avante that had been 90% Resealed in 5 years with numerous other problems. After over 3 years I have to agree that despite it being our  thirteenth caravan it is the best with no real issues.

Swapped our dreadful Bailey Unicorn series 3 for a Coachman VIP this year. Delighted so far - appears much better built than the Bailey which turned out to be attractive in the showroom but poor quality

Have the 560/4, two years old no issues apart from a few minor niggles that have been sorted at service. Changed from a Bailey but that was a good van as well. Would only look at changing to the 575 to get the bigger bed. well screwed together, seems to be wearing well, no issues with leaks etc.

Having bought our 2014 460 VIP in June of this year from Spinney Motorhomes and Caravans in Cheshire their were two issues Master control panel renewed without cost and three front window blinds that were tight renewed, all done by the dealer under warranty. All the vans l had previous had loads of trouble getting done under warranty. Coachman no issue plus the dealer was very helpful in dealing with both warranty issues. Well done Spinney and Kaleigh for being so efficient in both replacements

Currently own a U3 Barcelona and have been pleased with it overall since the layout and level of equipment suit us.  No damp in three years - all the readings have been around the 10% mark (in November / December) and although we have had a few warranty issues - nothing really serious and they have been quickly sorted out by the dealer. However, we have been looking to change and the one brand which seems to stand out is the Coachman VIP range.  Talking to our dealer's service dept, it appears that they have far fewer warranty issues with Coachman than either Bailey or Swift which they also sell and major issues such as damp are virtually unheard of.  They put this down to the number of quality control checks which are carried out in the factory - which I find very reassuring and we may well go down that path in the future.

What, a non-German van with high build quality? Good to hear! Unfortunately our dealer stopped selling them (I won't repeat what he said because it is hearsay) otherwise we would have bought one rather than the Bailey.  Anyway, ended up with a motorhome.
