I was hoping to book a pitch at Troutbeckhead CC for a date in May. The booking page has stated that the site is closed until mid August, is this correct ?

I had the same with Beechwood Grange at York, that appears to be closed too until September, Hopefully someone will come on and tell us if these sites are closed.

Yes, I should have looked, very luckily I managed to get Roundtree Park by some miracle as it was the Mayday weekend, instead of Beachwood which I had originally wanted,

Thanks for posting that link EasyT

I don't read the magazine, I am interested in one thing, booking my sites online.

Easy T gave me the answer I was looking for. I was not interested in a lecture and will not re-visit the site until I need to book more sites, maybe next year.

No one has "lectured" anyone, just trying to advise that a bit of advance thinking is all that is needed,

As said you learn by your mistakes ,so you will now be up to speed for next yearlaughing

will be interesting to see what this long refurbishment will look like at TH. I know the grass pitches are being converted to HS (they haven't been used for years) and will the toilets blocks be worked on? Booked in for late August and September.

thanks ET. I was expecting that as most reviews talk of the 'dated' showers but as long as they were clean I couldn't care less.

They were fine for me as well. An update every 30 or 40 years is fine by me, smile
