    Try Glen Brittle on Skye. On local advice we parked up on a small carpark on the right hand side of the road as you enter the glen & about 15 mins later a golden eagle cruised up the glen at virtual head height to us ! We watched it disappear round the mountain opposite & then drove all the way down o Loch Brittle where we saw it again ( there was a feather missing from one wing so easy to identify ) being harassed by a buzzard - when you see them together there really is no mistake which is which :)

    In these days of sad news about our raptors this story from late summer this year gives hope, only a little, but hope nontheless.
